It may seem like we have conquered a mountain, but in fact, the opposite is true.
As part of the Erasmus+ KA1 program for educators, we were able to explore new resources, overcome our limits, gain innovative methods for the educational process, learn about culture, converse in English, and even focus on grammar. We visited museums, galleries, walked many kilometers through the city where we spent the week.
The amazing place we had the privilege to visit is called Dublin. At the international institution Teacher Academy, we were guided by the incredibly lively instructor Helen, who is proof that teaching can be a creative and fun activity. One learns without realizing that someone is actually teaching them. Our colleagues in the group came from Poland and Italy. Besides the educational activities, one also has the opportunity to form new friendships and brainstorm future potential collaborative projects. It's simply about enjoying the experience.
If we didn't expect any surprises before leaving to Ireland, we were left speechless by how amazing this place truly is. The people are smiling, kind, and will help you anytime and anywhere.
How else could a teacher gain new competencies for personal growth if not by leaving the walls of the school for a while and going somewhere to get inspired?
